Western New Mexico University offers various support options for students. Here is an overview of some of the resources that may be beneficial to you:

Provide services and support to ensure that students are able to access and participate in the opportunities available at Western New Mexico University. Services include but are not limited to alternate text, assistive technology information, campus housing arrangements, campus accessibility and disability parking information, priority registration assistance, new student orientation, testing accommodations, advocacy, or assistance with any other campus disability-related needs. – More Information Found Here

Offering food pantry items as well as cleaning supplies, kitchenware, blankets, and toiletries when available. – More Information Found Here

A 5 STAR, NAEYC accredited lab site located on the WNMU Main Campus that serves children of WNMU students, staff, faculty, and community ages 8 weeks to 5 years old. – More Information Found Here

The Information Technology Resource Center located in Miller Library has a computer lab with 40 VDI computers (all available with internet access), offers color or black & white printing, and has 6 study rooms available for checkout to students. – More Information Here

They are much more than a proofreading service (although they can help you learn to proofread, too). Their primary goal is to help you become more confident and skillful with words and ideas. They will help you identify your difficulties and give you some concrete tools you can use to sharpen your writing. You can expect helpful and friendly tutors who will involve you and your ideas in your tutoring session. – More Information Here

Funds are available to undergraduate (associate and bachelor degree-seeking) students. To qualify, students must be experiencing an unforeseen circumstance. Awards are given for up to $500 per student throughout the lifetime of the grant. Emergency situations must be impeding academic progress and can include situations related to rent payments, medical needs, and vehicle repairs. Awards are only given during fall and spring semesters. – More Information Here
