Log in to your Mustang Express account

Click on the Student Tab.

Click on Class Schedule and begin loading your classes.

  • Select your semester.
  • Select your campus. – Virtual campus will show online classes
  • Click on “Show Schedule” and be patient… It may take a little to load.

Go back to  Mustang Express’s Student Tab, and under “Banner Links” click on Registration. A new tab will open and you may need to sign into Mustang Express again..

  • Click on Register (Add, Drop, Waitlist, or Withdrawal) Classes
  • Select the semester you want to register for using the drop down.
  • You will see a series of blank boxes, this is where you enter the CRNs.

Go to the class schedule you opened in the other tab, it should be loaded by now.

Once you locate the course you want to take, hover your mouse over the CRN (5 digit number) to see course information.

  • Prerequisite – means you needed to have passed the listed course with a grade of “C” or higher.
  • Corequisite – you need to that that course at the same time.
  • Concurrency – If you don’t have this course as a prerequisite, you need to take it at the same time.
  • All upper division courses (courses that start with a 300 or 400 number) have a prerequisite of ENGL 1120 Composition II.

 

  • If you have a hold on your account that prevents registration, you can see what type of hold is on your account by following the steps here.

 

  • “You re quire Readmission Prior to Registration” means that you have not completed an Admissions Application for the term you are trying to register for.
    •   Such as attempting to registering for a Summer course, when you applied for Fall. If you are not sure what term you have applied for, you can contact the Office of Admissions at:
    • Or you have taken a Fall/Spring semester off before returning to WNMU. You can either contact the Office of Admissions or you can fill out a new Admissions Application.

 

  • Pre-Requisite or Test Score Error” means you do not have the required course or test score to enter the class you have selected. If you feel this may be in error, please contact an advisor and we will be happy to assist you.

 

  • “Co-Requisite Error” means you did not submit in the CRN for the required co-requisite at the same time. If you feel this may be in error, please contact an advisor and we will be happy to assist you.

 

  • “Time Conflict” means the class you have selected overlaps with another class in your schedule.

Log in to the Self-Registration as per above.

Identity the course that is waitlisted. This can be found by a **Waitlisted** indicator on the Right hand side.

 

Click on the drop down menu for that course, and select **Web Registered** if you want to register for the course, or (Drop) of you would like to drop out of the Waitlist.

 

After verifying that all the information is correct, and there is no other changes you want to make, click on the “Submit Changes” button on the bottom.
