Send All Required Transcripts

Submitting complete and accurate transcripts is an important step in the admission process. Missing transcripts can delay admission, transfer credit review, financial aid, and course placement.

Send Transcripts from Every School

• You should submit transcripts from every institution you have attended.
• This includes colleges where you took only one class or did not complete a degree.
• Missing transcripts often delay admission and evaluation.

Why High School Transcripts Matter

• They help us understand your academic background.
• They may help determine appropriate Math or English placement.
• They may help determine eligibility for certain types of aid.

Why College Transcripts Matter

• They allow WNMU to evaluate transfer credit.
• They show what coursework you have already completed.
• They can help you progress toward graduation faster.

Submit Them Early

• Request transcripts as early as possible.
• Schools may need time to process requests.
• Submitting early helps avoid delays later.

Official Transcripts Are Usually Required

In most cases, official transcripts are needed for admission and transfer evaluation. Unofficial copies may sometimes help with advising but may not satisfy official requirements.

What Happens if a Transcript Is Missing?

• Your admission decision may be delayed.
• Your transfer credit review may be incomplete.
• Your registration, placement, or financial aid process may take longer.

Where to Send Your Transcripts

WNMU requires official high school transcripts (or GED) and official transcripts from any colleges attended before enrolling.
